Development in higher education is a fast growing area. The International Journal for Academic Development (IJAD) reports on advances in theory and practice and includes discussions on the development of models and theories for supporting and leading improvements in teaching and learning, and debates current issues at the forefront of educational change.
Educational development at all levels is covered, and the work of individual lecturers and courses to institutional and sectoral change is spanned. This journal will keep readers informed of best practice and current thinking worldwide.
IJAD is also the journal of the International Consortium for Educational Development (ICED). ICED is a network whose members are themselves national organisations or networks concerned with promoting good practice in higher education. AISHE is a member organisation of ICED.
