AISHE is a professional society whose goal is to bring together and support those people who are concerned to advance higher education in the island of Ireland. It promotes the professional recognition and enhancement of teaching and learning in Higher Education through a range of activities including seminars, conferences, publications, and provision of online community forums and services.

Second ICED/AISHE Seminar

AISHE is honoured to be hosting the ICED Council meeting this June; and is pleased to announce an additional public seminar, Nested Creativity which will be facilitated by Dr. Anne Jordan and Dr. Orison Carlile on the morning of 17th June 2009, in Trinity College Dublin. See the seminar announcement for full details and registration information. Note that this will be followed in the afternoon by the previously announced AISHE/ICED seminar presented by Professor Ranald MacDonald, on Practicing what we preach about our practice. AISHE-C 2009: Update

All submissions for the AISHE International Conference 2009 have now been reviewed, and authors notified of the outcomes. We are delighted to announce that there will be a very high quality programme with 35 oral presentations and 14 poster presentations. We are also pleased to say that, with generous support from the Higher Education Authority, it has been possible to significantly reduce registration fees for this year's conference; so you are encouraged to register without delay! Joint AISHE/QUB Seminar: Access and Success for All

ICED/AISHE Seminar

AISHE is honoured to be hosting the ICED Council meeting this June; and is pleased to announce an associated public seminar, Practicing what we preach about our practice which will be facilitated by Professor Ranald MacDonald, Sheffield Hallam University, UK, on 17th June 2009, in Trinity College Dublin.
